The third edition of the Bolch Judicial Institute and Duke Law School’s Guidelines and Best Practices for Implementing the 2015 Discovery Amendments to Achieve Proportionality is now available for public comment. Editors for this edition, led by Judge Paul Grimm with assistance from Jennie Anderson and David Kessler, are seeking feedback from lawyers, judges, and jurists before preparing the final version to be published this fall.
Any additions and changes from the second edition are noted in red font, but — in order to keep the document more legible — deletions are not noted. For reference, the second edition of the proportionality guidelines can be found here.
